Greetings! Thank you to Richie & Michael and all the returning Turning Waters Bed & Breakfast and Adventure guests for the wonderful first three months of ownership. I may not be the best at blogging, but I do know how to whip up a wonderfully healthy and delicious breakfast! Beer for breakfast, well you are on vacation and it is 5:00pm somewhere, right?
Since June 12, 2015, my life has been about YOU, the guest! As a massage therapist with over 20 years of experience in my own business in South Florida (I was a transplant from Kellogg, MN), I have an idea of what guests are looking for…Here at Turning Waters Bed & Breakfast and Adventure we aim to please. I (we) will go out of our way to make sure your stay is top notch, the best you ever had and we do that because you deserve it.
Imagine yourself sitting on our front porch sipping a glass of complimentary wine or beer upon check-in! During our summer months our local River Junctions Arts Council (RJAC) has lined up great musical talent just a stone’s throw away under the bridge. We are within walking distance of the majority of eating and shopping establishments and only a block and a half away from the Mighty Mississippi River. Soon we will be home to Hoppy Girl Brewing, LLC, aka Turning Waters Back Alley Brewery. We will be growing our own hops and have a garden plentiful of Sugar Pumpkins in the Fall for our O.P.A., Orgasmic Pumpkin Ale.
Growing up in Kellogg, MN, population 445, according to the 2013 Census, I always wanted to “get out.” Now, I look forward to life in the small city, where customer service at my place is top notch, and I’m always willing to refer you out if I can’t accommodate you. Running two successful business in the Palm Beach Area of South Florida, I learned a great deal about “giver’s gain” and I hope to teach and instill this attitude into our small rural area so that all the businesses not only survive, but they THRIVE!
Well, I invite you to check out our Trip Advisor reviews if you don’t believe me:) And if you stayed here before, I ask that you write a review and share what you enjoyed about our home and the surrounding activities that you enjoyed.
Until next post….Cheers!
Brenda K Pearson, Owner/Innkeeper
