Driving Directions

From the Twin Cities:

I would take HWY 10/61 on the Minnesota side all the way down to Turning Waters Bed, Breakfast & Brewery. Once you go through Lake City, you will be about 15 minutes from Wabasha. Pass a sign for Reads Landing and the next city sign you see will be on your left, and it’ll be Wabasha. Take your first left after this sign. There is a Dairy Queen on the right side of the 4-lane HWY and a gas station on the corner. You are now heading East toward the River. Take this over the bridge all the way to a 4-way stop. Take a left at this 4-way stop. You will go around a curve immediately and then see a branch in the road to the left, take this branch it is (4th Grant Blvd). You will go maybe a 1/4 mile and come to another stop sign. To your right is the big bridge that goes across to Wisconsin. Go straight at this intersection. Now take your very first right! It’s immediately after that stop sign, and the road is not marked well. But this is Bridge Ave. You are now driving East again toward the River. When you come to 2nd Street, there will be the What’s Brewing Quilt & Coffee Shop on your right, and Turning Waters Bed, Breakfast & Brewery will be on your left. Park anywhere you would like. Welcome and Be Happy!

From Wisconsin:

There are a number of ways to get to Wabasha, but the most immediate is to cross the bridge at Nelson, WI. Once you are crossing the bridge into Minnesota (which is technically HWY 25) you will come to a stop sign on the other side. Take a right at this stop sign, and then take your very first right!

From the South:

Again, many ways to get here from the south, but if you are traveling Interstate 90, you will want to get off on HWY 61/14 N. and follow this all the way through Winona and up to Wabasha. If you’re coming from Iowa or further South, Google it and then the following instructions will be more helpful in the directions around Wabasha than Google maps could provide. You will come out of Winona and once you drive through Kellogg, you will be about 10 minutes from Wabasha. There will be a sign that says Wabasha and then a number of signs that read Eagle Center, and American Inn etc… Take the first right these signs are pointing at. You will see an American Inn on the corner as you turn right. Take this road around a curve to the left, and it will bring you past a BP gas station on your right and in front of you will be a 4-way stop. Go straight at this 4-way (there’s a Kwik Stop on the corner) and then you will go around a curve immediately after this and see a branch in the road to the left, take this branch it is (4th Grant Blvd). When you come to 2nd Street, there will be the What’s Brewing Quilt & Coffee Shop on your right and Turning Waters will be on your left. Park anywhere you would like. Welcome and Be Happy!

From Rochester:

If you are from around the Rochester area, you probably already know how to get to Wabasha. But if not I would take 52N out of Rochester and then take 60E through Zumbro Falls. This may be tougher in the winter, so you could also take HWY 63 into Lake City and come down, in which case see the directions coming from the cities through Lake City to get to Turning Waters Bed, Breakfast & Brewery. If you are coming on HWY 60, you will stay on this road over HWY61 and past the American Inn on your left. You will come around a curve to the left, and it will bring you past a BP gas station on your right and in front of you will be a 4-way stop. Go straight at the 4-way (there’s a Kwik Stop on the corner) and then you will go around a curve immediately after this and see a branch in the road to the left, take this branch it is (4th Grant Blvd). When you come to 2nd Street, there will be the What’s Brewing Quilt & Coffee Shop on your right and Turning Waters Bed, Breakfast & Brewery will be on your left. Park anywhere you would like.
